128 members attended a meeting on Wednesday 23rd November to approve the next step in the amalgamation process with the Wyong Leagues Club Group. 4 of the special resolutions were passed unanimously with the other being voted 127-1 in favour.
The club is now in the hands of liquidator Shaw Gidley who will wind up the Avoca Bowling Club and then hand all assets and liabilities to the Wyong Leagues Club Group.
You would notice some of the changes already being made by the leagues club and most would agree that exciting times lay ahead.
